From 2019 to 2021, Lekan began producing documentary videos for development organizations including the United Nations Trust Fund (UNTF), US Mission in Nigeria and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) on documentary projects on Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Rape, Youth development and Female Genital Mutilation. His latest project, in collaboration with other filmmakers, and with support from Lagos State Government and Ebony Life Creative Academy, is a short film titled Omo Atoke. It is a riveting story about rape and the culture of silence that puts women at the receiving end of the shame and consequences.
