ELCA NOW AN AVID CERTIFIED TRAINING INSTITUTION
We are pleased to announce on behalf of Avid and the Avid Community Association that EbonyLife Creative Academy is now a certified training institution for Avid certification classes.
The prestigious EbonyLife Creative Academy was awarded a 2022 Avid Learning Collective Sponsorship, making the institution the first Film School in West Africa to be accredited by Avid as a training institute.
Avid is a leading technology provider that powers the media and entertainment industry. They do this by providing an open and efficient platform for digital media, along with a comprehensive set of creative software tools and workflow solutions. These solutions are used in production and post-production facilities; film studios; network, affiliate, independent and cable television stations; recording studios; live-sound performance venues; advertising agencies; government and educational institutions; corporate communications departments; and by independent video and audio creative professionals, as well as aspiring professionals.
Some of their products include the Avid Pro Tools: a digital audio workstation developed and released for Microsoft Windows and macOS, used for music creation and production, sound for picture and, more generally, sound recording, editing, and mastering processes.
As an Avid Learning Partner, students of the Sound Recording and Production for Film & TV Department at the EbonyLife Creative Academy, can now become certified Avid users FREE OF CHARGE.
The Avid Learning Collective sponsorship award provides Ebony Life Creative Academy with up to 50 seats per Avid creative tool software (Pro Tools®, Media Composer® & Sibelius®), eBooks and certification exams for 100 students per year, 50% discount on additional ALP purchases; 10% discount on Avid hardware, Avid branded items for students and so on.
